Red Cross Blood Drive

Thank you everyone who has helped us have another great blood drive.  We have either met our goal units or been above every since we have been holding them.  Our next blood drive will be Monday, June 16,  2025 from 12:00 to 6:00pm.   You can go online and sign up or give Roberta a call at (715-553-0007) and she can add you to the schedule.

Georgetown Lutheran Church Council

Our Council meeting will be Sunday, April 6th , 2025  in the Georgetown Lutheran conference room at 11:45.  Will be joint Parish Council meeting on Tuesday,  April 8th, 2025 at Trinity.  Supper at 5:30, meeting to follow.

WELCA quilting and garage sale

We are coming down to being done quilting until next fall.  We have over 50 for mission relief at this point will work a couple more Wednesdays before Easter to get a few more done.  After Easter it will be all hands on deck for setting up and getting for our spring garage sale.  Dates are Thursday, May 1st  (4-6pm)  Friday, May 2nd (8:00 – 5:00pm) and Saturday (8:00-12:00).  Lunch will be served on Friday.  Coffee and treats will be available other days.  If you have things to donate you can drop off on April 21st.  If you have things that need to be picked up please contact: Roberta Hansen (715-553-0007) .

 

Meatballs for sale again!!

If anyone is in need of our delicious meatballs and gravy, we have lots to sell again.  They would work great for Christmas dinner or just to have in freezer for a quick meal.  Give Sherry Doornink a call to place order (715)857-5331, or Pastor Diane is in the office on Mondays till 3:00pm.  They are $7.00 per bag/ which is a pound / plus gravy.

CRA Backpack Program

CRA:  Back to School Supplies

Thank you to everyone who donated back to school supplies!  Volunteers from Trinity and Georgetown packed up 25 backpacks full of school supplies for kids served by the Community Referral Agency (CRA). CRA provides shelter and services for survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault.  Their work includes emergency shelter, 24-hour crisis line, weekly support groups, system advocacy, safety planning and community education.  They are committed to keeping survivors of violence and their children together and safe.  CRA operated in Polk, Barron and Burnett County.  Visit their website for more information (including ways to contact them if you or someone you know is in an unsafe situation) www.crawhelter.org.
